Our Mission
"This Memorial Foundation is dedicated to 'Doing Good' within the community to honor a great son, brother, friend, hero - Mike Farchione."
About Michael
Welcome to our website dedicated to preserving the memory of Michael Scott Farchione (1981-2006). Michael was a loving son, brother, friend and wrestling coach. On May 10, 2006, Michael’s life was taken in a tragic car accident at the age of 24, as he was on the way home from visiting his brother and sister in Madison, WI. We miss Michael constantly, and put together this website so that others who knew and loved Michael around the world, as well as those that were not so lucky, can continue to have Michael bring them joy through his foundation. For more information about Michael's life, please visit the About Michael page.
About the Fund
The Michael Farchione Memorial Foundation was established to raise money for local charities and high school athletics in his memory. Michael was an outstanding athlete as he excelled in football and wrestling. In 2000, he won the Wisconsin State Wrestling Championship for the 189 weight class. He continued wrestling at the University of Oshkosh, as he pursued his education as a teacher. Michael later became an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Winneconne High School. It gives each member of the foundation great pride to celebrate his life and give back to the local community and wrestling organizations.
We strongly encourage all viewers of this site to contribute to the Memorial Fund, and any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
